New PC upgrade to be bought on March,2013

Right off the assembly line
My PC has the following configuration:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+
4GB DDR2 RAM
NVIDIA GT 520 1GB DDR5 Graphics Card
15" Samsung CRT Monitor
iBall iBenz Cabinet
440 Watt SMPS
Seagate 5400RPM 3.5" HDD

I am thinking of upgrading it to the following specifications:

Processor - AMD 3.3 GHz AM3 FX6100
Motherboard - ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2
RAM - Kingston ValueRAM DDR3 4GB
SMPS - Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2UK 600 Watt
Cabinet - Cooler Master Gladiator 600 Mid Tower
DVD-RW - Sony DVD-RW SATA
Graphics Card - Sapphire AMD HD 7850 1GB GDDR5 1 GB
Monitor - Samsung 21.5 inch LED
HDD - Transcend StoreJet 25M2 2.5 inch 500 GB External

But for further clarification, I am asking the esteemed administrator for the price of the components given for my new rig. It would be of great help. Thanking you guys in advance.

Everything is fine except the motherboard.

FX-6100 consumes good amount of power. The motherboard you chose doesn't have beefy VRMs and lacks VRM heatsinks.

Rather buy something like Asus M5A97 with FX-6100.

If you can, then increase your budget and buy FX-8350. But anyway, a better motherboard is a must.

Your proposed config is good except for motherboard. Asus M5A97 or Gigabyte 970A-UD3 should be the minimum choice.
