New laptop required asap:- Range ₹40 K

So my 3.5 yrs old dell laptop just wont boot , most probably a motherboard fault , will get it checked on monday.
Anyways I was already due for a new laptop . Earlier I was waiting for January to get a new one , but now it seems i need a new one quite earlier .

So here are my requirements :-



1) What is your budget? ₹40 K approx


2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?

Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen




3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?

will be basically dividing my lappy into windows and ubuntu
windows - for general entertainment ,Internet etc might play games very occasionally like fifa13 etc
ubuntu - for programming / web app dvlpt etc .


5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
I should just be able to see whats on the screen


6) Anything else you would like to say?

• Processing power must be above avg,
• should have a usb3.0 slot and total atleast 3 usb slots
• I don't care about pre installed os as i am going to reparation myself.(still 64 bit )
• Don't care about the speaker sound quality as i have my headphones and fenda speakers
• RAM must be atleast 4GB , if anyone can point to a laptop with 6 GB ram in my range that would be divine .
• Tough i have requested a mainstream size , it would still be a desktop replacement .But 17 ' is too huge
• I would like to have i3 and i5 3rd gen cores , my previous exp with A8 was very bad .

HP 2GB Ram lol at OP who suggested anyway samsung has 4gb

^^^ AMD version is much better than Nvidia GPU... intel HD4000 is far better than 610m, i don't know what were the manufacturer's thinking while making this config.
try this Samsung NP350V5X-S01IN Laptop. I5 +7670 m GPU will handle Fifa 13 at ultra settings easily.
Or
HP G6-2303TX laptop...
both have same confiiguration.. but samsung is offering extended warranty and is lighter and also has an empty RAM slot so, you can upgrade to 6gb for 1.5k

+1 to 2320tx also...it's the best laptop you can buy in your budget which i hope comes in your because it's 42k on FK, not sure about the local price though(the main reason i didn't suggest it).

Don't know whether it has i3 or i5, but if it is i5 then you are very lucky because it has HDD of 7200 RPM with graphic card.
