I want to buy a new gaming laptop, mainly for gaming in VR with HTC Vive, my budget is 1-1.5L can go a little higher, is it possible to get a GTX1080 in this budget?

You won't find anything more than a 1060 in laptops in your budget locally. Forget about the size/weight of the laptop.

Every laptop is mediocre (in India) at best no matter how much you want to increase your budget. A 1000$ laptop costs more than 100k INR and with reduced specifications.
