New Connection VS Transfer

I am shifting from one location to another withing Delhi. Should i surrender my existing mtnl connection and apply for a new one at the new location OR should i transfer the existing connection. Please suggest .

ask for transfer. better than paying the security deposit once again (though refundable).

that depends. some charge for transfer so people get it cancelled, get back the refundable deposit and apply again. if the deposit / registration charges are non-refundable, then its better to get it transferred provided transfer charges are less.
