Specs are decent for the price, but not a big fan of acer.

Samsung-NP355v5c-s03in[AMD A8]

Are the ones I'd recommend.

but for under 40k u are getting IVB i5 which in terms of performance is better than the A8 anyday and the 7670m and 630m are equal in performance and the 630m even triumphs the 7670m in some tests!
i guess the few more thousands are justified..

Yes, i5 is better than A8 in terms of battery and processing power. Acer is a better option than Samsung. Samsung quality is not so good and also they don't provide onsite warranty. Nobody wants to take leave and carry the lappy all the way to service center.

I am planning to buy a laptop tomorrow. Till now, I have been thinking of only the following 2 laptops
