Need to use whatsapp outside USA but with a USA number

Hi,

I have a peculiar problem. I just left the US and had to surrender all my phone numbers, etc. Now that I am outside the US, i'd still like to be on whatsapp with a US number. It could be any number as long as its a US number. Any way to do this??

If you have friends/family back, As them to get a spare PAYG number. Use the number to activate and use whatsapp. (You need them to send you activation code though in realtime or the activation URL).

Can i buy a PAYG number on ebay or something. Unfortunately I dont have any family back in the states. (I am in India as of now)
