I'm using MTNL broadband.
Can you please suggest Router with modem??
Internet will be used on 8-9 devices, includes 1 computer, 1 laptop, 7 mobiles for surfing and downloading most of the times. Not used for LAN gaming only online gaming link pubg, some steam games (very less use), net speed is 10mbps.
Also using file sharing on same network laptop-computer-mobile.

I found TP- Link router which supports both ADSL and WAN input (one input at a time i think)..

9970 seems best as it has both ADSL as well as cable connection broadband input(EWAN port). 8961 & 2750u are basically same as 9970 minus EWAN port while C20 is only a router & will need a modem to work with ADSL connection.

Historically I had bad experiences with TP-Link routers, so I avoid it these days. Basically after a year or two, the router fails to work when there's high traffic, like you are downloading something or multiple people are streaming stuff. Restarting the router solves it but is still an annoyance. Experienced it with 2 TP-Link routers till now, so I don't suggest it. D-Link ones have worked well for me (based on exp with 1 router & 2 modem+router till now).

Were those models(tplink ones & dlink) in similar price range?Usually such situation happens when routers run out of ram/cpu unable to handle load & cheaper models usually have weak cpu & 16mb ram.

One of the TP link one was the cheap single antenna one & the other one had two. D-Link side, one of them was very old no wifi modem+router, one the cheap single antennae roueter & third one was single antenna modem+router (costliest of the bunch, costed just under 1500 a few years ago).

Currently have the double antenna TP-Link which usually fails when downloading stuff continuously (was updating a game) for 15-20mins @ 30Mbps with just 2 connected devices. It can very well be a coincidence that happened to me, who knows.

May be. Nowadays,if you can afford it(or looking for a long term solution/future upgrades),then I suggest getting at least Asus RT-AC58U which comes with a quad core qualcomm processor & 128mb of ram(available for 4.2k on nationalpc.in,official asus distributor & amazon seller but amazon prices are higher).
