1) What is your budget? Rs 35,000 to 38,000
2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
Preferably 14 inch. A light 15 inch laptop willso do,but 14 inch is preferable
3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like
ell, Hp,Lenovo,Sony

4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
Will be running Autocad and other drafting softwares. So I guess a graphics card is desirable. Will not be gaming on the laptop.
5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?
No preferance as such.
6) Anything else you would like to say?
I would like to get extended warranty on the laptop at the time of the purchase itself.So would prefer brands that provide it at reasonable cost.
