1) What is your budget? (INR or USD) INR 1,00,000

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
  • Weight doesn't matter , Size 15 is minimum
3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Basically doing office work and some medium gaming in-between. Althou gaming is not main priority will prefer to skip this for 4k display.

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Heard Ryzen is better than intel at the moment . Will prefer for ryzen for futureproof

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

Dislike: LENOVA

6) Anything else you would like to say?
  • Also will preferred getting for 3000 RTX series .. althou if i am getting 2000 rtx series for good price can go for it.
  • Don't preferred MacBook as they have too much high maintenance cost.
  • Battery back up should be good .
  • Purchase place ( preferred trusted online sites )

4K on a laptop is overkill & a waste of money. Win10 scaling isn't perfect & some apps might end up having stuff looking too small to see what it is.

If 4K is a must, buy whichever laptop you get with a 4K panel. I doubt there will be many options, or even any options.

For gaming & performance, wait for Acer Helios 300 (i7 10870H + 3060) to go on sale again, it was like 106k a week back or so.

If you want good battery life, avoid gaming laptops. Not sure there are many good 15" ultrabooks.

I didn't say Win10 doesn't scale, in fact, it does. But some apps don't play well with scaling. I think 4K laptops need 300% scaling. Considering laptop screens are relatively far away from your eyes (unlike phones) 1080p is enough. Even for monitors its considered enough till 24".

But as said earlier, I doubt there are any 4K laptops in India for your budget. Are you open to ext. monitors? You can get good 27" IPS 1440p 144Hz monitors for under 25k on sale.
