My current monitor is the 22MP68VQ-P itself :)

I has been working well for over 4 years. But since last week, the half of the screen has gone haywire. Checked with few technicians and they suggested to buy a new one as repair are not feasible.

So, I need a new one as reliable as this one.

I came across the Acer HA220Q. What do you think about it? Any other recommendations?

I missed to add that one key requirement for me is a matte(non-reflective) screen

Why not go for the same monitor if you were satisfied with the quality of your current monitor?

Yes, I have been thinking of the same too. Its current price though has gone up by 15% since when I got it 4 years ago.
Guess the purchasing power in monitor market goes down over time :/

Also, the Acer HA220Q does not have an audio out port, which means I can't connect external speakers to it. Kind of lame, really. So the Acer is out of contention. And my budget does not leave me much options.
