Ans=> Fairly large display would be good. 4 inches perhaps. And shouldn't be a poor display with washed out colours.

3. Form Factor? bar, slider, flip?
And=> Bar

4. Preferred choice of brand?
Ans=> Anything will do.

5. Preferred input method (QWERTY, touchscreen, numpad, touch-n-type).
And=> Touch

6. What camera option you want? Please specify need for flash, autofocus, front facing camera.
And=> Should take good pictures. Not expecting professional quality pictures but should take decent ones. Flash autofocus are added benefits.

7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
And=> Android

8. Preferred connectivity options (3G, Wifi etc)Please specify clearly.
And=> A 3G enabled device will be enough.

9. Preferred applications (Flash, Swype, GPS, etc)?
And=> Whatsapp,fb,some games,texting etc.

10. Primary use of handset (multimedia, camera, mails, internet, gaming etc)?
And=> Music,camera,net,light gaming.

11. Any specific mobile phones in consideration?
Ans=> I shortlisted the Samsung Galaxy S advance but open to other consideration.

Ans=> Need the phone soon.

Quad core 1GB RAM internal you get 2.68GB the catch is apps cannot be moved to sd card but hey you can do anything once you root it:cool:
5MP cam can shoot 720p video has a front face cam too. 2400mah battery.
It looks like a black granite block when the display is off so beautiful.You can get it for 9000.(DONT MIX IT UP WITH A700)

XOLO Q800 RS.10500 JB4.1
4.5inch screen same resolution and pixel density but higher refresh rate!! 1GB ram you can move apps to sd without rooting so you can play NOVA 3!!!
8MP cam 1080p video. BATTERY 2100MAH.
Q800 is has better processing power because Q700 seems to use an underpowered processor god knows why
Both are 3g+2g configuration
Both use ARM A7 processors so they are powerful than galaxy quattro which uses A5 processor
Canvas a110 has only 512mb ram so stay away from it because big screen and low ram is not a good combination.

S Advance 4.1 upgradable
ram 768mb dual core - Nova Thor chipset is the slowest dual core out there
Quad core mediatek is better than that and S advance would cost around 13000 You may think samsung maintains better quality but its upto you man but xolos I said have 4.5 inch screen and which would be perfect for most people

Some corrections

Processor performance is not everthing......... S Advance with Android 4.1 will definitely provide lag free experience(even in 2.3 it's lag free). It can handle most of the games(except top games). It has better reliability & A.S.S than XOLO & MMX.

Its Super AMOLED display is also good(others have LCD). No doubt better build quality & ofcourse better camera.

So just get S Advance........cheaper alternative XOLO Q700 (has advantage of android 4.2)
