Motherboard and Cabinet Buy-Suggestions Please

Hello Friends
I have gigabyte motherboard with nvidia geforce2 64MB card with P4 2.6GHZ processor
I have some problem with my cabinet and motherboard.
Long time ago when i tried to play thief3 /truecrime newyork it crashed (not supported it seems)

I have decided to change my mother board and cabinet and graphics card
I dont want to go for high range. My budget will be some maximum 5k
Is it possible to get good latest motherboard with some good nvidia(which can play thief3, truecrime newyork)

Suggest me good cabinet model which can have 4 slots for 4 optical drives.

You can go for a 865 mobo for 3k...and a gfx card for 2.5k...maybe a 6200....
