Mobile Ati 9600 or 9700

My laptop vendor has shown me two models of laptops one having a Ati Radeon 9600 and the other ATi radeon 9700 both are mobile versions

Which one should i go for

ati mobility 9700 4 sure...i have it on my laptop and i can play doom3 without any problems.....not at high res of course...but i can play it!!! btw, what brand of laptop is this????

Mobility 9600 is based on the 9600 core
Mobility 9700 is based on the 9600XT core
Mobility 9800 is based on the X800 core

In terms of performance, go with the higher number.
