Mid-sized tablet with good screen

I need a medium-sized tablet for around 15k with a good screen and decent performance.

While browsing through available options, I was surprised how low OEMs' product portfolios are when it comes to tablets. It seems the overwhelming smartphone demand has trumped their incentive to produce them.

It was in the news that Honor plans to introduce new tablets in India soon. Will they have good prices or is it futile to wait?

Tablet market is bad right now, so not many tablets are being released. The ones available in India are not worth it. It will hang or lag bad with much inferior specs to smartphones. If Amazon introduces Fire tablets in India, those will be some good VFM choices, but otherwise iPads are the only decent choice. Apple's marketing & better tablet app support is helping them keep iPads alive.

If possible, try to increase your budget and get iPad 2018. Currently it is being sold for approx. 20k with discounts on Flipkart for limited time.
Android tablets are simply not worth it at all.
