Sweet Poison
hi guys, I am planning ahead to upgrade my cpu+mobo+ram and originally waiting for Haswell to launch. It's not that I am waiting to buy Haswell but launching of Haswell might reduce the pricing of current Ivy Bridge but since Haswell is push down to June release I might consider getting the new setup in next 1-2 month. Here is my current setup-
Intel E5200@Stock + gigabyte g31 mobo
Cooler Master Hyper evo 212 plus
2*1 GB Patriot DDR2
Seasonic S12II 620
MSI NVIDIA N660 TF 2GD5/OC 2 GB
WDC 640 aaks SATA II|Seagate 1Tb
BenQ G2420HD
Corsair 400R
For me something like i5 3470 + b75 will be a cheaper options but since I have an after market cooler and descent enough psu and cabinet I also like to consider to overclocking path. In OC, I like to consider something like i5 3570k as a safe bet but new AMD piledriver series, like FX 8350 comes at 2k+ cheaper in compare to i5 3570k performs more or less in terms of gaming. I will be gaming at 1080p and like to have the best value for money setup which will complement my current gpu..preferred budget will be 15-20k. Thoughts, suggestions..
