Looking for an USB-C to USB-A Adapter to work on MacBook Air?

I have a M1 Macbook Pro and it only has USB-C Port and I have a lot of data in my Old USB-A Pen Drives. I think I will have to get a USB-C to USB-A Adapter. Any suggestions on a good Adapter that works with the apple M1 MacBook Air for this purpose?

That's expensive, any cheaper options? I tried this but it did nit work, would not show up only in the MacBook Air

Sell the e-waste and buy a proper x86 windows laptop with USB-A ports, user upgradeable RAM and SSD.

Having used a Mercedes Benz S Class. Going for a Cheap Suzuki Brezza is not my Taste.
