Lenovo y510p has been already discussed in the forum. Which one to choose and which one seems to be better, the dell one also has touch but i guess no OPTICAL drive( if any one can confirm). Snapdeal has written the DVDRW in their specs but its shown nowhere else in dell or compuindia.

Which one would you go for considering dell's support. I am having some doubts on lenovo's support, any intel or advises?

If you are planning to buy this answer these questions first
1. Will you play games on it
If yes which games
2. What applications will you be using on it.

Y510p is winner in terms of performance...... It has i7 mobile n not ulv processor. 750M n 755M are almost same. It's always better to have ODD.

Dell for great warranty , lenovo for performance (lenovo has touchpad issues according to my friend who bought one)
Otherwise lenovo smokes the dell

Btw ulv isn't as bad as people hype it to be unless op is an extreme gamer and needs the best cpu for the price (like me :)) )

^^+1 to this. Dell has bestt a.s.s. for laptops in India. so decide accordingly. It will not give performance same as 710p.
