Broken In
Hello guys, its been a little more than a year since i bought my y500 an it has been to the service station twice and yet again there is LED flickering problem, crashing problem and so on, I had dropped my laptop at a customer service station here in Pune about three weeks agoa and wasn't surprised by their lack of ethics and professionalism in helping me out, anyways they have hooked me up for motherboard, LED and fan replacement. Its extremely annoying given that when i had paid top buck from my laptop i had expected more than some cheap quality product. My question here being has anyone else have to replace a major component of their laptop yet or was it just a random unlucky spree of laptop issues for me.
P.S- I am quite a moderate user and have isolated my laptop only for gaming, browsing purpose and can safely say I have taken as much care as that of my bike.

Confusingly Confused!
I too had to replace my y500's motherboard just 15 after days I bought it but lenovo service is quite annoying and after getting replacement after a lot of heated discussion with service centre its been working quite well no problem after that. In case of your lappy its just bad luck but there is no excuse for lenovos ethics.

Meanwhile my Y500 is performing at almost the same performance level as Alienware 17 with GTX 770m.
I max out all current gen games.
