ok so after long wait, i bought Lenovo V130 15IKB laptop with core i3 8th Gen from snapdeal for 23k

however how do i know if it has m.2 slot or not, and which ram i can upgrade to without opening the back cover,

i have 810HNA03JIH model , however there is no such information available on any of the site, i contacted the seller but no reply.

laptop is working fine however i want to install m.2 SSD and additional RAM

Is there any utility i can use, or opening the cover is the only option

Yes, it has both M.2 slot and SATA Slot as well. So you can put either NVME or SATA III drives in them.
My best bet is Intel 1TB 660p NVME or Crucial MX500 1TB SATA III drive which ever is cheaper & faster as well.

That m.2 slot needs to be wired for PCIe connection otherwise nvme drives won't work at all. Besides, a 1 TB ssd worth 10k in a 23k laptop isn't logical TBH. Cheaper, better option would be to get a 250GB MX500.

Thanks brother I am tight on budget and Nvme are costly.

But my question is

Can I use any m.2 sad and just attach it in slot and install windows on it.. or only NVME SSD require.

Also can I keep the HDD intact and use both SSD and HDD at same time..

Sorry bro.. I have seen many times only specific SSD work on some laptops and if you add any extra drive other stops working..

Please help here...

However I have seen the bios and it has Nvme boot option..

My plan is to use m.2 for windows and HDD for data

Dont need only NVME SSD as any SATA III M.2 SSD is enough.
But install Windows 10 on the SSD only.
Get this :CRUCIAL MX500 500GB 3D NAND M.2 TYPE 2280 INTERNAL SSD
I want to use cheap Ram and SSD. Please suggest..

Don't worry its M.2 Type 2280 which can accomodate both NVME & SATA III M.2 SSDs.

i closed the back plate now, however i lifted the foil the took a picture of the empty slot,

not able to see the already installed ram, as there is only cpu under that foil, may be the existing 4 gb ram is soldered to other side of the mother board, or integrated on motherboard, have a look at the empty slot..

also i do not wish to spend any high prices ssd or ram,

i only wish to add cheap ram and ssd with good value for money,

i will add 4 or 8 gb ram and 256 or 512 gb ssd

Dude, Your laptop does not have RAM installed at all.
So you can go with this:Buy Online Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400MHZ SODIMM Laptop Memory CB8GS2400 - in India
For SATA III M.2 SSD you can go with this:Buy Online Crucial MX500 M.2 2280 250GB SATA III 3D NAND SSD CT250MX500SSD4 - in India
