Laptop - Rs.50k

I am looking for a new laptop within a range of Rs.45K to 50K. Min. requirements are a centrino processor, atleast 30GB HDD, atleast 256 MB RAM, combo drive,bluetooth. Features like spill resistant, security lock, etc. are criteria. Any brand will do. One more query is that if I install OS other than the one that the company ships, will it affect my warranty?

dun mind pal but there is a poll already going for a laptop then why again?and wen there is already a thread for all laptop related quire then why a seperate post?nywayz for 50k u can go for Dell inspiron 2200 which is the best u can get for 50k accordin to me,may be it mite exceed for budget by 2-3k.there is a IBM lappy dun know the exact model,,Acer TravelMate 4150 is around 47k includin taxes it may differ a bit,i m sure not many here will like u to go for a acer lappy.for hp,ibm models wid price dun hav much idea i m sure others will help u out on dis soon..

taxes extra, prices in Mumbai. I have the above IBM model. one of the compaq models doesnt have blue tooth technology.
