hi,

I want to purchase a laptop with venting system like the mac book air. I don't want to purchase a mac as it would be very tough to upgrade. Tried searching google for options, unable to find any.

Please assist

This post needs more clarifications. And please don't write like "I don't care as long as the price is right" as we don't know what is the right price for you.

1) 40,000
2) Thin and light
3) daily usage
4) dislike- Sony
5) I'm not choosing MacBook as their memory and storage cannot be upgraded that easily, mostly they are soldered or so.

MacBook range does not have vents in the bottom like other laptops, hence need a laptop in the same style and upgradable in future.

Then make one and launch it in the market.

On a serious note, any laptop without vents is most likely to have soldered ram, no hdd slot (only m.2) and would be hard upgrade. It can't be done in your budget unless you want low powered hybrids.

Macbook design is crap. Doesn't allows for proper heat dissipation.
