How much processor power you need? Are you alright with getting an i5 with lighter body or do you really need i7 because most i7 models are heavy as they are gaming laptops & their battery backup will be just about avg? same is the case with screen size, may good & light options with good battery backup in 14" screen category but not many options in 15.6" screen size category.

This Laptop might interest you but it is 10k more than your budget.
If you can go with a cheaper variant then it comes under your budget.

A cousin bought this recently:

PS: AMD's new 4000 series mobile CPUs look promising and if I had to buy a new laptop, I'd wait for them to be available.

90k is way too much for a 1650

@SaiyanGoku op's main usage will be share trading software which I don't think needs much cpu power or graphics card hence asked for clarification. If his usage can be served by a core i5/ryzen 5 then no need to go with a bulkier/lesser battery backup laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

While this is true, I won't suggest anybody to get a laptop with U or Y series Intel processor. They are just not worth it.
i5 8300H (45W), well is almost 2 years old and R5 3550H performs almost like it on an average despite having a TDP of 35W.

CPU processor power should be minimum 3.4 Ghz(i5/i7) as base speed and RAM 16GB DD4 is the minimum requirement upgradable to 32 GB.

Storage not needed much but should be SSD. No requirement for GAMING GPU.

The share trading software requires CPU POWER to calculate intricate accounts very fast so that the user can decide whether it is a buy side or sell side in a particular time frame.

Seems like you are doing algo trading in which case processor power is indeed required. In that case very limited options as @SaiyanGoku mentioned above as 'U' version intel processors throttle down to be more power efficient. You will have to buy gaming laptop if you need 'H' version processor.

At 74k this seems to be the current cheapest laptop with i7 9th gen 9750H processor.

My laptop's i7 8750H has 2.2GHz base clock & it will outperform all the i5s available in market, even desktop-class ones except for an overclocked i5 9600K. So base freq doesn't matter. CPUs run at turbo freq, even if not at their max turbo.

My suggestion would be Lenovo Y540 with i5 9300H+GTX 1650, goes on sale for 60k. If you think it really needs more power, go for its i7 variant (linked by SaiyanGoku). Wait for sales near Republic Day, might save a few thousands. The lowest for i7 + 1650 model was 75k, maybe another 2-3k discount with bank offers.

Add another 8/16GB stick.
