2.Size..prefer 15 inch,wt no issues
3.To be used for surfing and basic office work
4.No partuclar configuration
5.No brand in particular...but looking for brands offering extended warantee etc

Try in local authorized asus store,go to asuspromo.in website & call/email using contact details to confirm extended warranty offer as site banner is still showing old date of 31st Oct. YOu also need to get extra 4gb ram to add to it as 8gb is the recommended amount for win 10 nowadays.

Cheaper but no backlit keyboard & acer does not give extended warranty offer to laptops bought online/not at their authorized stores.Also you need to get extra 4gb ram installed at their service centre only else warranty will be void.

You can buy external dvd drive like this & carry it in laptop bag:
