How much did you buy it for ?
For the requirements you mentioned, i5 9th GEN / AMD R5 3500U would have worked fine.

60K for 14" laptop unless its an ultrabook seems overpriced.

It is overpriced but then considering 8gb ram/512gb ssd & IPS screen & overall current scenario of inflated prices of laptops/mobiles there isn't much choice especially if you need laptop urgently.

Intel is expensive as usual while having inferior performance but nothing much can be done if you need something urgently. You can continuously check online stores & grab at R5 4500U/R7 4700U laptop for 50/60k when it gets listed sometimes.

The biggest factor for me is IPS screen because at this price one should definitely get it but sadly many models in this price range still missing IPS screen.

I think 60-65% sRGB panels are mostly in circulation till 90k, won't get better than that.

Most laptops upto the INR 95K -100K bracket offer similar panels (IPS 1080p, 141 ppi, 250 nits brightness, 60hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC Gamut, 60-65% sRGB and 30-35% of AdobeRGB colour gamut)

There were some 100% sRGB 1080p 144Hz display laptops under 1 lakh, like Y540 & Helios 300.
