My cousin wants to buy before the this diwali offer ends. His use case is pretty basic, I suggested something like i3 would do, but he prefers something more than that. And he is keen on HP brand, so please suggest HP models unless there are significantly some superior models from other brands available

1) What is your budget?
INR 60k

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
  • Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
Generic Home/Office use, MS Office suite, Media consumption, Tally, Browsers

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
Preferably i5 or better

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Preferably HP

6) Anything else you would like to say?
  • Screen resolution Full HD
  • Battery back up As best as possible in this budget
  • Purchase place ( Online )
FHD IPS Panel
Win 11 + MS Office is must
Backlit Keyboard Full size with num pad
8GB + 1 free slot or 16GB (2 x 8GB)
Longer battery life would be good
No need of dGPU, he's not gonna game
Good quality web cam and speaker
Min of 500GB Nvme

How about this one? This is the only HP I can narrowed down using filter with 13th gen i5.

There are bunch of HP models that fits in the budget, but not able to figure if the display is IPS or not (except couple of Victus models). And all of 'em are 45% NTSC which I didn't expect at all. Even for 60k we can't get ~100% sRGB? Out of curiosity checked if there are any from other brands and came across this one from Asus, display seems good on paper.

He is kinda fixed on HP, don't know why.

For something cheap with good performance & good display (just 67% sRGB but good for the price). As mentioned earlier, some 15" laptops at even 50k don't have IPS panel. Get 14", more compact, overall better for normal usage.

For something well built. This has 1x RAM slot & 2x M.2 slots.

He wants bit bigger one with num pad, so the reason going for ~15"

These 3 fits the budget and checks most of criteria,
61k - i5 1335U *amzn.in/d/bLFwzoS
56k - R5 7530U *amzn.in/d/gAkjAP6

This one despite having dGPU, it's priced around the above two.
60k - i5 13420H *amzn.in/d/5nMnWlZ

but I like the Asus one, solely for it's display.
