Laptop for 50K

Hi,

I want to buy a laptop for under 50K. I will be using it for mainly programming and browsing.

My area of work mostly involves around VS.NET, Adobe Dream weaver and browsing.

And Occasionally gaming also. at least Half-life 2 at 1024 * 768 with less eyecandy

Suggest me a good laptop. Models HP/Sony/Dell

Hmm I think you can choose the DELL Vostro 1400 or 1500 if you are not looking for flashy looks and colours or if you need them then go for the Inspiron 1420 or 1520...

1400/1420 is a better choice since it will be very portable and also a lil cheaper than 15" laptops.... Upgrade to a Geforce 8400GS card in your laptop and get 2 GB of ram.... This will come around 51k I presume for the 1420 and around 50k for the 1400...
