before tat, what conx. do u have? dialup or DSL?
there r many avaialble, cable modem booster, DSL speed, a internet optimizer comes with tuneup utilities 2006, mindsoft optimiser, cablexdsl.. another 1 comes with system mechanic. in my opinion, they can only optimise but not let u go past ur speed configured.

Hey legolas...
I want to know whether these "cable modem boosters" really boost the transfer speed?? I have a dataone connection & I get a download speed of 30 to 32 kBps with or without the accelerator....So what do these things "accelarate"? There is no big difference in the download speeds...So do these accelerators really do something???
