Also I have never used or bought a console before so any pointers for first time buyers like whether an old Dell PC 1920x1080 monitor can be used with a console ?
Are old games also this expensive ?Article for reference: Games for PS5 to be priced at Rs 4,999 on PlayStation store
If 5k per game is good for you get a PS, else with game pass an Xbox makes more sense.
How long does an Xbox work with playing 3 hours everyday ? do I need to clean it often or give for servicing every once in a while ? also are their games I can purchase on Xbox that remain with me forever once I buy them like Steam without pass and what is the price of pass.I'd say stay away from Xbox Series S. It has a weaker GPU & just 512GB storage. It might support games for maybe 3-4 years before big games dropping support (its GPU is equivalent to old Xbox One X which is almost 3 years old).
Xbox Series X at 50k seems like a decent choice. If PS5 digital edition is priced at 40k, obviously get that. Note that PS5 has a better selection of exclusive games whereas Xbox has more powerful hardware with few nice software features like a good backward compatibility system.
An important thing to keep in mind is that you need Xbox Gold or PS plus subscription to play multiplayer games (even if you bought the game or game is free to play).
If your old monitor has an HDMI port, it will work with consoles, although something as powerful as Series X or PS5 is wasted on a 1080p 60Hz monitor, IMO get a 43" 4K TV for 25k for a good experience.
If your budget is really low, get at least PS4 Pro or Xbox One X as PS4 & Xbox One S are surely dropping their game support soon, likely from 2021. So no more new releases for them. One X & PS4 pro might get limited support for few more years though.
There are few options. Pc only, console only or console + pc (gold edition)Can you tell in Indian rupees.
It does. Apparently going forward all titles will come for PC version as well. Many console owners have purchased 3 year plan of the Gold subscription as it had an offer.Does that mean I can play xbox exclusive games on PC as well ?
No, like HZD is just 1.5k now. Similarly, a new game called Mafia Definitive edition was launched at 2.5k, but new PS5 optimized games will be indeed 5k at launch. You can always wait for sales, or buy used disc games (provided you buy a console with disc drive, this concept doesn't exist in PC sadly):Are old games also this expensive ?
No idea, generally consoles are low maintenance but India is a dusty country, so better to get it cleaned once every few years at least. How long does an Xbox work with playing 3 hours everyday ? do I need to clean it often or give for servicing every once in a while ? also are their games I can purchase on Xbox that remain with me forever once I buy them like Steam without pass and what is the price of pass.
EA Play will be available with XGP from Nov this year, maybe Dec for XGP for PC.It does. Apparently going forward all titles will come for PC version as well. Many console owners have purchased 3 year plan of the Gold subscription as it had an offer.
Also currently I think EA Play is being offered too, for people to play EA games. Although that is being discontinued soon(EA play bundle with gamepass).
