config : i7-3770 , 3.40 ghz ,8mb cache , lga 1155
ram g skill ripjawX ddr3 16gb(2X8gb) 2133/pc3-17000
graphic card.....gigabyte amd radeon hd 7850 2gb gddr5
as rock z77 extreme 6 motherboard
my motherboard supports memory frequency upto 2800+(o.c)mhz.......but my cpu i7-3770 supports dual channel ddr3-1333 and ddr3-1600 mhz max.
my concern is even if my mobo supports host of higher clocked ram , will i be limited by my cpu integrated memeory controller??? because the ram i am planing to buy has memory frequency of 2133mhz and the max supportable is 1600mhz.
Will it not recognize ram running at higher frequencies???????? OR downgrade ram frequency to 1600
