How to recover my watsapp account if i changed my phone and don't have the sim.

so i recently sold my phone and before selling it I forgot to transfer my watsapp account to a different number. I have lost the sim to which my current watsapp account is connected but it wasn't a problem earlier because when you are reinstalling watsapp on the same device they don't ask you to verify your account. But now it is a problem.
So can anyone suggest any way in which i can access my old account without having the sim card??
I just need my account to transfer it to a different number.

You can only change the Whatsapp from your old number to new number, within the app.
If possible, get a new sim card with same number - install whatsapp in new phone - login - goto settings and change to new mobile number - remove the old sim - put the new sim into the mobile - use it.

No other option. Else you can transfer "anyone's" account onto your own number.

+1 to what Flash said. You can get the same number from the provider (I guess migration card or something). Will take a day or two at max to get activated. You have to submit your documents again.

The thing is that number was from rajasthan when I was there and now I am in Bangalore so..

Send your docs to some one in Rajasthan who could do this for you. As you are only going to send copies, you can do it over email it self.
