The Honor 7S is the newest smartphone from the company and this time around, Honor has set its sights on the budget category. Let’s take a quick look at what the smartphone has to offer.
Kicking things off with the display, the Honor 7S sports a 5.45-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It offers a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
Coming to the chipset, the Honor 7S is powered by a MediaTek M6739 SoC with a PowerVR GE8100 GPU.
In terms of memory, the phone offers 2GB RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. The internal space can be further increased by up to 256GB via a microSD card.
It should be noted that the microSD card slot is separate from the dual SIM slots. So users are free to use two sim cards and expand their storage at the same time.
At the back of the phone is a single 13MP unit with PDAF. At the front, you get a 5MP camera with an LED flash. The company notes that this flash is able to automatically adjusts to different lighting conditions.
The device runs EMUI 8.0, which is based on Android Oreo v8.1.
The Honor 7S packs a 3020mAh battery, which is aided by Smart Battery Management 6.0. This is said to optimise foreground app performance and reduce power consumption in background apps.
