The Honor 7A is Honor new budget smartphone and as such, it aims to offer a lot of features at a low price.

The Honor 7A is one of the few phones under the 10K mark to offer facial unlock. On top of this, you also get a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The phone sports a 5.7-inch 18:9 FullView display with resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels.

Honor says that the Honor 7A offers a maximum of 88 decibels of sound. Further, the phone can also adjust the volume to automatically adjust to a particular environment.

The phone comes with EMUI 8.0, which is based on Android Oreo. The phone also features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

When it comes to the camera, the phone offers a dual-rear camera setup with a 13MP + 2MP sensors at the back. On the front is an 8MP camera. The Honor 7A also comes with specialised modes such as wide aperture mode, beauty mode, food mode and so on.

The Honor 7A also comes with a specialised 3-in-1 card slot that features room for two SIM cards and a dedicated slot for a microSD card.

Honor 7A - Jack of all Trades...
It feels really good,has a modern display that works well when you are out and about, it meets out decent all-round performance. It has got capable dual cameras. It also has the latest software and a battery that should last one full day for most users. It may be the best phone that you all can buy under 10K. However the phone misses out little bit on performance. Which is crucial factor while choosing a good phone. On the bright side it is one of the cheapest phones to include Face unlock which competitors are unable to provide in this price range.

My favoirite feature is 3 card slots. 2 for sim cards and 1 for memory card. No tension for storage limits.

Bezel is there. No phone is coming without bezel. How would anyone hold a phone with no bezel?

All the lower end phones have 18:9 display without reducing the bezels much. So it's just taller than the old phones.

Recently I was confused between Redmi 5 & Honor 7A (32GB at 9k each) for my aunt & finally decided to get Redmi 5 because of better SoC. But 7A is good device indeed, especially for those who want a smaller device with 2 SIMs + SD card. I feel Honor could have launched a 16GB model at 8k & made it a bigger success. 16GB is enough for just storing apps. Redmi 5 has a 16GB model even though it has the hybrid slot.

Bezel is there. No phone is coming without bezel. How would anyone hold a phone with no bezel?

You can hold a phone without any bezels on a flat hand. Whether or not you would be able to use it properly is another topic.

There should be touch rejection algorithms in the phone's OS which rejects accidental palm touches & any other scenario which they see fit. The palm rejection on the curved screen of my S8 is good, without it I'm pretty sure I would have been annoyed by it.

It will but I think Samsung and Gorilla Glass will figure something out. The latter has already made a screen which survived about 20 drops.

Connecting many phones for music is good but not requested. People have sound box for that function.

People will either buy more cases or spend more time in service centers to fix their broken screens.
