One of ma frnd need to buy a new desktop...his budget is 26k...
Can u guyz suggest a good conf ... ?..
need Core 2 Duo pro .... dnt wnt a Intel MB...

Go for AMD

ASUS 5000 motherboard

AMD Athlon X2 or AMD Phenom X4

Check what RAM u want 1 GB 2GB depends on necessity

It will cost around 20Ks some thing

Gigabyte P45 based board: 6k
2x2GB DDR2 800MHz: 2.5k
Palit HD4670: 4.5k
Delll 1909W: 7k


26k till here. Atleast a HD4670 is a must to do little bit of 3d design. Still it will be painfully slow.

PS: 26k is not a good budget for system to do 3d design and that too including monitor.

I bought it for 12578 Rs

And with 26000 in your friends hand he can buy 2 Microtec Computer

Still 1000 in Hand as he will get discount

So he can buy 100 CDs to Backup his data
