hi,
i have to buy a laptop for my wife for her thesis work as soon as possible. my budget is 40K, max 45K. requirements are 512mb ram, 80 gb hard drive, dvd writer, windows xp. am i expecting more? please help me out. core duo will be better. but amd turion 64, pentium m will do.
please help me out.

OMG budget is 40k ? Thats alot LOL u dont need $40.000 for a laptop .

Ram can alaways ask them add up to 4 gigs !

i have v6211 of compaq it looks vry nice and sexyy . cheack in compaq sitee it has amd 64x2 512 ram and the mst imp thing is that it looks nice and it has a grapic card also 6150 nvda kkk it about 42000 . it may vary one of a person in the forum got it for 39000
