Good Looks, Sound and comfort are the priority..

Why not get corsair vengeance 1500 for 4.2k . I think it's worth it. If not then I think you will get better advice in the audio section. Ask mods to move your thread to audio section. Also answer what anand has asked. That will enable us to suggest in more precise manner.

On MD computers website it says 4264 rs with taxes. I talked to vedant computers in kolkata as well and they quoted 4300 with shipping. But i guess there is no point in suggesting anything further until OP himself shows some interest in his own thread.

If you want absolutely within 3k then nothing beats Steelseries Siberia V1, they are good for gaming and decent for movies and music too !
Else i would suggest you to increase the budget a bit and go for Corsair Vengeance 1500 , and lastly skull candy is more about showoff than actual sound quality, so beware !
