GPU help needed

One of my friend wants to but a new graphics card. But due to reasons like financial restriction n non availability of cards in this city he is restricted to very few options. Local vendor is offering him a XFX 7200GS 512mb card for 2250/-..... so can neone tell me how good it is in this DX 10 world n which games will he be able to play with this card.??????? presently he is using onboard(intel gma 950)

Well there is another option for him like 8400 GS for almost 2800/- Its Dx 10 and is better than 7200 GS 512. Another option is HD 2400 pro...donno the price but it is also a good option over 7200!

the 8400GS u suggested is from which brand??????? XFX or some other??????

Geforce 7(7100 and higher till 7950GX2) series is not DirectX 10 but DirectX 9.
Visit the sites for detail of where u can buy graphics card of a particular brand in your area that's how i got hold of my 8800's.

XFX is best in India but u can go for others too!
in ATi buy only Sapphire or Power Color!
