So I am out of touch with today's market. Need something good for under 2k (less the better) for wireless and around 1k for wired.

In wireless I don't want those "buds" cause I don't want to loose them while doing any physical activity. Also I think mic quality would compromise if we don't have mics on a wire.

How is this for wireless?
OnePlus Bullets Z2 Bluetooth Wireless in Ear Earphones with Mic: *www.amazon.in/Oneplus-Bluetooth-Wireless-Earphones-Bombastic/dp/B09TVVGXWS

And this for wired?
JBL C200SI, Premium in Ear Wired Earphones with Mic: *www.amazon.in/JBL-C200SI-Ear-Headphones-Gray/dp/B07DFYSGS3/

"New" Bullets Z2 have inferior mic is what I heard. I have older Z with mic on the wire, instead of the neckband. I bought it 2 years ago & now its starting to show its age, wire near the earbud is coming off, so days are numbered.

This has mic on wire, check some reviews. Even I'm out of touch. I might just jump to OP Nord buds 2 for myself when time comes. Mic quality is a priority for me as well, at least that TWS has 2 mics per bud with background noise cancellation.

For wired, cheap ₹600 realme one was fine for me. That JBL one should be ok as well. Sadly not able to find decent type C to 3.5mm converter for a reasonable price.

I'm using realme wireless earbuds 2, colour grey (best unique colour)
I purchased at ₹1600, last year's Diwali sale. MRP was ₹2200
It has a 13mm driver.
There are others but this one gives more great sounds.
I faced only one issue, it was taking too much time to turn on when those 2 buds separated.
So I replaced it under warranty, replaced in 5 mins.
In my area, it was difficult to find the service centre and also it was in bad shape, waiting time was more due to multiple relame sub brands.

It's very good for everyday use with "normal mode" in noise cancellation selection.

As always wired performance is always best.

Well that boat rockerz is out of stock. Those Buds have insane number of reviews. Doesn't deter my decision of not going with a TWS.
I bought a Mivi Type C to Micro USB OTG Adapter back in 2018 for Rs 311. Now it's OOS. Seems like Micro USB is being phased out. But I did find one: *www.amazon.in/LIRAMARK-Adapter-Converter-Connector-Smartphones/dp/B0BFCQWXXV

If you mean neckbands, can you link me the product. Not looking for TWS.

Also on TG group, got to know about this: *amzn.eu/d/2j3mXgy
It's Bluetooth Audio Adapter for Headphones, using which I can even use my wired headphones as wireless, for use cases like TV.
With this I think I might go with a quality wired earphone.

India has passed a ruling after EU to use type C. It doesn't affect products now, but will do in future.

That looks good except for micro USB charging port, is inconvenient.

Is it not available on Amazon? Seems a bit pricey when bought from direct realme site.

Realme often changes their prices.
So keep an eye on their events or daily check at 11 am.
Or wait for diwali. Or some festival sale.
I purchased it at ₹1699 from relame site pre-paid.
They gave a ₹600 coupon by playing their games.

₹1699 should be the ideal price for this neckband.

Thinking to get Boat's Rockerz 330 Pro as per suggestion from @omega44-xt
It's in stock now, have 60 hours of playback, and something called, "ENx TECH" which promises to improve call quality, which also be one of my main usage (as thinking to use it for office calls).

Thanks TigerKing. The 1st video was a bit outdated, but the 2nd one was really good. Put things into perspective. I am going for 330 Pro.
60 hour battery life and dual pairing mode are two real good features. Don't care about ANC.
