I have posted the question regarding laptops on their facebook page(*www.facebook.com/GIGABYTE.Notebook.Global?fref=ts) and they have replied that its tentative late october for diwali.
No idea whether its for gaming laptops or whether this is confirmed. But if its true, it should make for some much needed competition I guess.
