Well, not any specific, I just want the laptop to run latest games at medium level details

Battery back up ( extended (5-7hrs) if possible and fits my budget )

okay I understand, but at least games which came in 2013 or early 2014 should run in low/medium settings.

(TBH, you have to double your budget and get Lenovo Y50 if you want to play the latest games)

Actually by latest I mean .. games after 2012.. I own a Y50 4 gb model.. and I am able to play everything at ultra setting.
But even for low setting you need to spend around 50-55k .. that too wont be able to play games at medium setting .. I highly doubt.
Example the BLackflag,Unity,Advanced warfare.. or even take most wanted 2013.. they demand high hardware configs.
Yeah games like fifa 2014, dota, assassins creed upto 3rd part may run at low setting for a budget laptop (35k)

There's no way Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition will run at ultra in a Y50.
Advanced Warfare is probably the last AAA that'll run [MENTION=136512]Ultra[/MENTION].

I am sure about BLackflag,unity,Advanced Warfare.. and i didn't mention far cry 4 and dragon age inquisition .. so dont have any idea about that.. last night i just got unity.. it has high<very high<ultra settings .. maybe in very crowded sequences it will lag.. but as far as the starting is concerned it was smooth..(unity)

No big deal in maxing out Blackflag and Advanced Warfare.

I'll tell you how unity will treat you.
The bald guy sequence does not require much processing power so that will me playable @med and probably at high too. Then comes Arno sequence and you'll be forced to reduce the settings from prev. When the Animus Glitch sequence starts, you'll be lucky to play @lowest.
Cutscenes will make you lag too.

Also, 20 FPS is not smooth.

but it satisfies me that I am handling one of the most sought after devices present today...atleast if not the best one.
This laptop has satisfied me so far.. maybe not the ultra gameplay but even I am happy with high setting..!

Huh got my dreams for a perfect y510p i5 crushed. Going in for a z50-70(52k) i5 Ulv 8gigs ram, FHD crap **** display, 4 gigs 840m (I know it doesn't matter, but didn't had a choice,gonna use it on a bad ass 55 inch FHD TV ). Still mesmerized by y510p's awesome display, No choice guys. I AM GOING DOWN HOUSTON.

I am getting a feeling at a budget under 45 to 50k one should now a days better opt for a desktop instead of a laptop.
