3 good FPSes within 8 days of each other!! I pre-ordered F.E.A.R. and then Activision announces QUake 4 for October 18. Waiting for them to announce the system requirements before I get that game. I guess I'll wait on Serious Sam II until I'm done with F.E.A.R. and Quake 4. And then there's NFS: MW next year. Man too many good games!

@nemi , if u can pla fear then u can definitely play Q4 , fear has the most fearful requirements.
Most is the 2GB ram req , i read it somewhere that fear aqquires 900MB(oh hell) of systm memory while playing.

Don't tell me ..... u guys have mere 1 GB ram on ur systems and u call urself gamers. lol

just a joke , but it hurts. cause its true that 2 gigs of ram is recommmended to play fear.

I also read in the F.E.A.R's SP demo's readme file that the game 'recommends' 2GB of RAM.

navjot: You are right, the F.E.A.R news site does say 1GB as recommended. I hope that they have somehow optimized the engine to use less RAM.

Tweak Guide (www.tweakguide.com) reports that the game uses 900MB of system memory while running. So it stands to reason that 1GB is not going to be optimal for it, as XP itself uses much more than a mere 100MB.

On a side note: While GeForce Ti makes the cut for minimum required, 5200, 5600, 5700 etc. don't. The only FX series supported is the 5900!

I think they moved the release date to November 17 as their latest newsletter put the date as Nov 17 instead of 16. By the way, the new NFS website is great and all NFS fans should check it out. The game is going to have a Lamborghini Gallardo and a McLaren-Mercedes SLR
