Ok guys/gals, this is for all users using Zonealarm Pro v7.x.
I use Mozilla Firefox v2.0.0.4 & IE6 SP2 as browsers.
I use Outlook Express for checking mails.
I use Zonealarm Pro v7.0.337.000 as my firewall & have disabled Windows Firewall.
Zonealarm is loaded automatically at startup.
The problem is, when I connect to internet with Zonealarm running, on first sign of internet activity, the vsmon.exe (process of Zonealarm) takes up the entire CPU for about 30 seconds.
Even if I run either of the browser or Outlook Express, the process takes up 100%.
When I don't run Zonealarm while connecting to internet, the problem doesn't occur.
So I know the problem is with Zonealarm. And preferably with this version cos it never happenned with any older version. I haven't tried the latest version.
What I wanna know is that am I the only one facing this problem?
Is there any solution to it?
What if the latest version also has this problem?
