My budget is INR 65000.

The screen size should be 15 or above

Though i like dell but any reputed brand would do for me.

I will use to play games like gta, fifa... watching movies. I am an engineering student(ece- Ist year) so may need for studies too

no knowledge of how resolution affect but it should be good enough to watch hd movies and play games. Favour FHD if in the budget.Should be decent looking

Suggested- SAMSUNG NP550P5C-SO2IN & Dell Inspiron 15R SE(i7 one). I am not to sure about samsung. Though it has better GPU then dell but it has many issues, It throttles. It also has better speaker and screen resolution. So help me Please. Any other suggestion Would be highly appreciated.Thanks
Backlight keyboard is also required.
Planning to buy near Diwali bt can wait till january end.
I live in Delhi so planning to buy at nehru place but if someone can suggest any shops in Dehi-NCR region with better deal, would be of great help

The performance of GT 650M would be about 25% more than HD 7730M. HD 7730M actually competes with GT 640M. If your main concern is only gaming and general work not editing or virtualization you should buy core i5 model. And dell inspiron full HD screen upgrade option is not available right now.

Can HD 7730 play upcoming games (atleast 2-3 years) on medium or low settings ? As i really don't wanna go for samsung(or should I? is the service etc r good of samsung)
Also is there any good upcoming models till new year or january end that i can wait for and consider?

HD 7730M is good enough to play for couple of years in low or medium settings. Though I can not predict what can happen in future gaming world? But it's better to wait for next year, if you can. I bet you will get much better gaming performance in high end entertainment laptops.

Same here dude!! Don't know which one to go for. I am really trying to avoid samsung bt GT650 and better display and sound than dell are attracting me. the throtteling, heating up are the issues which are stoping me from buying. Don't what to do??

HD 7730M is good enough to play for couple of years in low or medium settings. Though I can not predict what can happen in future gaming world? But it's better to wait for next year, if you can. I bet you will get much better gaming performance in high end entertainment laptops.

Sorry man, you are wrong there is no issues in samsung laptop now but it was because of no official drivers from nvidia and some user who commented about throttling were doing overclocking, using throttleshop, modifying and other hazardous things to get issues.

I know man, you are not the only one who spends 60k for a laptop. I suggested hundred of people to purchase their right laptop. So its better for you to trust me. You should talk to owners who owns this laptop I made an official thread for these samsung laptops.

First thing i tell you that the laptop you have (hp pavilion dv6-1161tx) was having heating issues and gets quite negative reviews for having this problem. For the games like CS SOURCE or CS GO Intel HD 4000 is more than enough to play smoothly and I personally do gaming sometimes for 7-8 hours my hp remain warm in about 80*C so i suppose samsung should remain, better to ask the users who own this laptop. I keep my laptop 24x7 never turn off.
It seems like you need to buy a core-i7 laptop get core-i5 model it consumes less power and having same GPU GT 650M 2GB DDR3 so the gaming performance would be same.
Why you are not looking for a gaming desktop? You would get far better performance than any laptop in your budget.

Sometime we(friends) do night-outs for playing games so i want laptop and i want to carry it wherever i go !

You can see the first post of the thread that I created that thread and I know all about users. I recommend you to get core-i5 model my friend owns that it has no issues.

I am going to buy sammy with i7 at 11/11/12
I have also heard that new bios update has fixed throttling with i7 and also new laptop doesn't have that issue !
