I have bought DSL-2730U modem for BSNL broadband few months back, it has worked fine till now, but recently DSL light goes off, internet disconnects and connection will be restored with in few seconds. Lineman has changed the line, but the issue persists, is it something wrong with Modem or bsnl broadband, how can I figure out? Modem is still under warranty.

It could be a problem with BSNL. I used to face that problem a lot with MTNL until one day I didn't. At least, not as bad as before.
See if you can ask the linesman to let you keep their modem for a couple of days and test it. You'll know for sure then.

One light on the modem will blink. That is the sign of an active connection. If you are facing disconnection issues, post your SNR and Attenuation values. If you can convince someone at the exchange to look into your issue, that is the best. Line men doesn't know a thing.
