Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo

Hello people.

I have a question. Are there any TX3 users here? I have an Intel stock cooler with an i5 4690. My PC idles at 38C and under Load, it fluctuates between 65C - 70C, with the odd spike to 74C. I'm not sure about ambient. It's more than 30C.

With air conditioning, it doesn't hit 70C. These Temps are sustained for a 2-3 hour period, 5 days a week.

So should I stick with the stock cooler or purchase the TX3? It's going for R2000 on Amazon.

Thanks guys and wishing you a Happy New Year! :)

I have used TX3 for 8 months on my i5 4670s but its not worth 2k so you can go with 212X @ 2.8k which is much better in terms of cooling and fitting mechanism as well.

How are your Temps with the TX3? I can't buy another cooler because of my case dimensions. Only the TX3 fits.

How are my Temps? Are those fine or do I even need an aftermarket cooler?

My temps didnt cross 75C degrees so I think your stock cooler is more than enough right now...

Okay so I purchased the Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste from Amazon (only Rs 515).

What a difference! My Temps are 5-7C lower than with the stock thermal paste that came pre-applied on the stock cooler.

Now my CPU never hits 70C under Load. I highly recommend it.
