Right off the assembly line
1) What is your budget?
70-75K

2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer?
  • Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
3) What are the primary tasks you will be performing with this notebook?
general purpose, trading etc.

5) Any typical configuration in your mind you're eying for ?
8th generation i7, 8gb DDR4 RAM, 4 GB Graphics RAM, 2 TB HDD,

4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
a. Like: HP, Dell
b. Dislike: Lenovo, Acer

6) Anything else you would like to say?
I have shortlisted HP Pavilion 15-cc134tx (Price 72K) & Dell New Inspiron 15-5570 laptop ( Price 71.3K)
Can anyone suggest me whether the recent HP laptops still have overheating problem? and how do they perform as against the Dell ones?

With HP, I am getting extended warranty of 1+2 years for just 800 Rs. whereas Dell does not have that option.
The only difference between these two laptops is, HP has DDR3 Graphics RAM whereas Dell has GDDR5.
Apart from this, they are similar.

Thanks,
Prasad

I'd say you can very well do ok with an i5 8250U and lower budget. But you should get a laptop with good build quality, IPS 1080p screen, at least 240 GB m.2 ssd (970 Evo or 760p or an empty m.2 slot ) and cheaper extended warranty options. Ignore the brand totally.
