Computer Upgrade

Hi,

My desktop currently has Intel P4 (2.4 GHz), American Megarends MoBo, 512 MB DDR RAM, an IEEE 1394 card and two IDE HDDs (80 and 40 GB).

Now I want to upgrade the system to following configuration -

Motherboard
Asus P5B-MX/Wi-Fi-AP
Processor
Core 2 Duo - 2.2 GHz 800 MHz FSB
RAM
Transcend DDR2 800 MHz FSB - 2*1 GB
Video Card
Galaxy 8400GS 256MB DDR3 RAM

I am not very much into gaming, and my primary usage are net-surfing, image processing (Photoshop CS2) and a little bit of video capturing and editing. I will run Windows XP and Ubuntu with Beryl on my desktop and the video card must be able to run Beryl.

So guys, will this configuration be sufficient for my kinda usage.

Also please tell me, will shops in Nehru Place buy back my Processor and MoBo, and if yes, then for how much?

There is a sticky for upgrade advice..

I think its better you get atleast a 8500 if you are not into gaming.. But if you are a casual gamer then get 8600.
