more compact atx?more than gpu(unless it is a long high-end one) it is the motherboard which decides what cabinet you should buy.there are mid-tower cabinets which have ATX mobo & m-ATX mobo(smaller with usually 4 sata ports) compatibility.if you buy a mid-tower cabinet with only m-ATX compatibility you will be forced to use only m-ATX mobo in future but if you know that you will not buy ATX mobo in future then it is a good option with its smaller size.if you don't want to take chances with mobo size in future then get a regular mid-tower cabinet.get bitfenix merc alpha(usb 3.0 front port version is ~Rs.600 costlier),the best cabinet in ~3k price range:
