Description

The demo gives you 3 tracks and 3 race types to try out.
Firstly there’s the point-to-point, against-the-clock action that’s a hallmark of the series. The demo pits you and your Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX against a testing Italian rally stage. This mode is also playable in multiplayer.

Secondly, test your nerve in off-road racing as you race against 9 fearsome AI drivers in a CORR class 1 buggy packing 650bhp.

Finally, take on the rally legend himself, Colin McRae, in a Subaru Impreza – the race is on a twisting tarmac crossover track in Germany.

I've installed this game. My system can't handle it.

System:
Pentium 4 3.0Ghz Prescott
1GB 400Mhz RAM (dual channel)
Normal HDD
GeForce 7900GT 256MB

The game can't even give me playable framerates with 1024*768 while I play Oblivion at 1920*1200. This is really weird. Also, when I disabled "Multisampling" which I'm assuming is Anti-Aliasing (it said 4x), there was no performance improvement (at 1280*1024) while the game did look crappier...

I take this as a bad port from XBOX 360 to PC...

I agree with u.I m waiting for my brother's XFX 8800Gts 320mb which he is gonna buy today to play this game.Well also multi-sampling is similar to anti-aliasing but is not actually anti-aliasing.

another bad port.....gr8!:x
even Lost Planet : Extreme condition (port for x360 to pc) sucks.....
it seems the tutorial refers to the xbox 360 controller all the time & framerates are low, even on good hardware......read it on gamespot

Well I've read reviews that it even takes down an 8800GTS unless backed by huge amounts of RAM and a really fast CPU.... I take it as a bad port...
