1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans:I want to play games like hitman absolution, sr4, bf4, crysis 3 on mid or low settings and possibly do video editing
2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:Rs.25000-35000, 40k is the top notch limit
3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:YESSSS!! To the CPU, GPU & RAM (from UEFI BIOS if avaailable)
4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Ubuntu, linux, mac os (hackintosh) and posssibly windows (pirated) so don't include it
5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:I already have a 1tb wd drive and old pata samsung 80gb drive(not ssd)
6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:I already have crt samsung syncmaster 794 mg but an new one with hd or hd ready and possible a hdmi port will work if in budget or ill use my old one
7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:wd 1tb hdd and pata 80gb hdd with pata dvd rw drive and speakers And probably the monitor if the budget falls short
8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: after 2014 march (after 10th ssc exams of maharashtra)
9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:half/full yes or half no
10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: i live in mumbai and can buy from lamington/grant road. Also flipkart or amazon india or amazon.com with international shippment
11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: i will use my pata devices with a pata to sata converter for 200rs (from lamington road)
I dont want apu if pcie3 doesnt matter over pcie2 and if apu will bottleneck it
