Buying advice for cheap gaming mouse

I'm a casual gamer and I play all kind of games i.e. fps/rpg/mmorpg/action... But I don't play everyday and I don't think I should spend more than 1.5k for mouse and pad. Okay, do I really need a pad?? I've a very flat table so may be I can skip it?? If so 1.5k budget is for mouse alone. So please give me suggestions on this price range. As I said I'm not a hardcore gamer so I don't need many fancy features just decent performance will do. Thanks for reading

A mouse ALWAYS will need a mat, and a pretty good one too.

I don't really know what's available in that budget, Logitech G400 maybe?

G400 is being sold at ~2k , so it's out of my budget. I was thinking may be G300? Hows the digiflip mouse?? It's only 700. And about pad, I did a lot of googling and many people think its not really necessary for laser mouses. Also I'm not a hardcore gamer so may be I'll just skip it.

Amazon is selling g300 at 1.3k and 1.5k. Could anyone please take a look at these links and tell me the difference??

There's Corsair LS2, Logitech G300 ( my pick), or Dragonwar mouse of your choice (friend owns one of these, im dissatisfied with the build quality)
